TreadTap support

Let’s get your walk moving.

TreadTap is a focused remote and session tracker for compatible Bluetooth walking pads. It is designed and tested for the UREVO SpaceWalk E4, model URTM026.

Why can’t TreadTap find the walking pad?

Make sure Bluetooth is enabled, the walking pad is powered on, and the manufacturer’s app is fully closed. A walking pad normally accepts one Bluetooth connection at a time. Move your iPhone close to the pad, then reopen TreadTap.

Why are controls disabled while numbers still update?

The pad can broadcast walking data before it grants control. TreadTap keeps listening while it requests control again. If control does not return, stop safely with the physical remote, power-cycle the pad, and reconnect.

How do Apple Watch and Mac control the pad?

One nearby device owns the Bluetooth connection. Your other TreadTap screens act as remotes for that device, avoiding competing treadmill connections. Keep TreadTap available on the connected iPhone or Mac when using a companion control.

When does Apple Health ask for permission?

After your first completed walk, TreadTap asks for permission to save indoor walking workouts, walking distance, and active energy. If you decline, the session still remains in TreadTap. You can change access later in the Health app or Settings.

Why might distance differ from the treadmill display?

Some firmware versions report the belt counter with an unusual scale. TreadTap compares that value with speed and elapsed time and uses the plausible result. It is an estimate intended for personal activity tracking, not a calibrated measurement.

Safety

Keep the physical remote and emergency stop within reach. Confirm the selected speed before starting. TreadTap is a convenience control and is not a substitute for the walking pad’s safety mechanisms.
